Meilssa Fordham Founder and Chef of Blue BistroChef Melissa Fordham is a native Marylander, born and raised in the Baltimore area. Melissa attended the Carroll County Career and Technology Center for culinary arts as well as Anne Arundel Community College for culinary arts.

Melissa currently just took the position of executive head chef at Gourmet Again in Pikesville Maryland. Melissa had previously been the Executive Sous chef at the Grill at Harryman House for ten years. In her spare time she was the Executive Chef consultant at Rafaels in Westminster Maryland. She also spends her time teaching culinary arts classes to adults and children at Carroll Community College. he dream at the end of the day for Chef Fordham is to host her own cooking show on Television so she can share her cuisine and enthusiastic attitude to the whole world.

Inspired by a local tradition of classic eastern shore treasures, Chef Fordham describes her culinary style as a fusion of various ethnic back rounds with a twist of modern influence. Chef Fordham being close friends with Rafael decided to get involved with the project of Blue Bistro and Catering to fulfill the dream of being a part of a restaurant from the start.

She designs and creates all menu ideas for the deli and bistro. She is always looking to make food more fun and more flavorful.
